Description

WaterHog Forklift mats are designed to remove dirt and moisture from forklift wheels, helping reduce tracking and slip hazards in industrial facilities. Ideal for areas where forklifts enter and exit buildings, these mats help maintain cleaner, safer floors.

Constructed to withstand forklift traffic up to 14,000 pounds, the reinforced rubber nubs, backing, and fabric surface deliver long-lasting durability. The bi-level surface traps dirt and moisture, while 4' x 6' interlocking tiles allow for scalable installations. Available in six colors, WaterHog Forklift mats feature eco-friendly PET fabric made from recycled content and a durable 100-mil SBR smooth rubber backing.

Please note, mat sizes are approximate as rubber shrinks and expands in conjunction with temperature and time.  Tolerable manufacturing size variance is 3-5%.

Care/Cleaning Instructions

WaterHog Forklift mats can be cleaned using the following instructions:

  • Vacuum regularly (daily in high-traffic commercial areas; weekly in lower-traffic areas)
  • Extract or hose off as needed to remove heavy soil/debris
  • Hang mat to dry

Always make sure the mat is dry before placing it back in service.

Installation Instructions
  1. Place the mat face down with the rubber backing side up.
  2. Place double-sided tape (sold separately) along all four sides of the tile, as close to the edge as possible. The sticky side goes on the rubber with the blue side facing up.
  3. Add more tape inside the rectangle. Create an X by placing tape from one corner diagonally to the opposite corner.(Note: 1 roll of double-sided tape will cover 3 WaterHog Forklift tiles)
  4. Place the tile in the desired position.  Carefully fold one half of the tile back, exposing the blue tape.
  5. Remove the blue liner and trim back to the folded area. Then fold that half back into place and repeat on the other side.
  6. To secure the bond between the tape and the tile, apply pressure by walking around each side of the tile.
