Description

Action Absorbent Floor Mats are designed to help control moisture and spills in industrial and commercial environments. These absorbent mats effectively soak up water, oils, coolants, and hydraulic fluids, helping reduce slip hazards and keep work areas clean. The durable cotton yarn surface is paired with a grease- and oil-resistant nitrile rubber backing that provides reliable slip resistance on hard floor surfaces.

Available in multiple rubber thickness options with a cleated backing for added stability, Action Absorbent Mats are ideal for manufacturing facilities, service areas, and high-traffic workspaces. Mat sizes are approximate, with a standard manufacturing variance of 3–5%.

Available Sizes

Classic Solutions Plus mats can be cleaned in several different ways:

  • Commercially laundered (see Laundering Instructions)
  • Vacuumed regularly: daily in high-traffic areas, weekly in lower-traffic applications
  • Cleaned with an extractor
  • Hang mat to dry

Mats should always be dry before they are placed back in service, and cooled before rolling.

Care/Cleaning Instructions

Action mats can be cleaned using the instructions below:

  • Hose off as necessary
  • Extract or hose off as needed to remove heavy soil/debris
  • Hang mat to dry

Always make sure the mat is dry before placing it back in service.

Please remember that oil and solvent-soaked textiles should always be stored and disposed of according to your local governing regulations. This also includes disposal of oil and solvent residue removed from these textiles.  Please consult your local regulations for specific details.

Installation Instructions

Action Mats can be commercially laundered periodically to remove grease, oil, and dirt.  Depending on the type and quantity of soil, it may be necessary to adjust the formula shown below to increase break time, temperature, and number of rinses to achieve desired results.

To prevent pilling on other mats, Action Mats should not be washed with mats made of nylon or other synthetic carpet yarns.

  1. Flush 2-3 minutes, medium water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  2. Optional Flush 2-3 minutes, medium water level, 120 degrees F  (49 degrees C)
  3. Break 5-10 minutes, high water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  4. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold
  5. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold
  6. Extract at low speed for 1-2 minutes
  7. Shake out (rotate wheel at wash speed with drain open) for 1 minute
  8. Extract at high speed (250 Gs) for 3-5 minutes
  9. Dry 15-30 minutes, 180 degrees F (82 degrees C) basket temp
  10. Cool down 5 minutes

Insure mats are thoroughly dried to prevent mildew from forming in the cotton yarn.
