Description

Wet Step mats provide reliable slip resistance and ergonomic comfort in wet environments. Drainage holes allow water to flow through the mat, while NFSI high-traction certification helps improve safety in areas prone to moisture.

Constructed from 1/4" high-density nitrile foam, these mats offer comfortable anti-fatigue support and are suitable for bare feet. The anti-microbial, mold- and mildew-resistant construction helps prevent odors and degradation, and the UV-resistant nitrile rubber foam delivers longer service life than standard PVC mats. Wet Step mats are available in blue or grey.

Recommended Uses

Recommended for use in wet areas where additional slip-resistance is needed - locker rooms, showers, and around pools and spas. Also recommended for use in medical settings such as operating rooms and scrub areas.

Please note, mat sizes are approximate as rubber shrinks and expands in conjunction with temperature and time.  Tolerable manufacturing size variance is 3-5%.

Care/Cleaning Instructions

Wet Step mats can be commercially laundered (see laundering instructions) or cleaned using the instructions below:

  • Sterilized in an autoclave
  • Washed by hand using the following instructions: Scrub with a deck brush (as needed) using a detergent with a neutral pH; rinse with a hose or pressure washer and hang to dry.

Always make sure mat is dry before placing it back in service.

Laundering Instructions

Wet Step mats can be commercially laundered to remove oil, grease, and soil. The formula below does not require extensive mechanical action or drying.  It is designed to dissolve grease residue by using hot water to emulsify oils and grease.

  1. Flush 2-3 minutes, high water level, cold water
  2. Break 5-10 minutes, high water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  3. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold water
  4. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold water
  5. Drain 2 minutes
  6. Wet Step mats do not require extracting or drying.  Lay mats flat following removal from washer.  Allow to cool before rolling.
