Description

WaterHog Plus mats are durable, stain-resistant entrance mats designed to trap dirt and moisture while keeping floors clean, dry, and safe. The bi-level surface scrapes debris and absorbs moisture below shoe level, while a water dam border helps reduce tracking in busy entryways.

Featuring an attractive swirl pattern, these mats are made with solution-dyed PET fabric that resists staining and fading and contains at least 90% recycled content. Reinforced rubber nubs prevent crushing for long-lasting performance, and beveled edges with NFSI high-traction certification enhance safety. Backed with 100% nitrile rubber, WaterHog Plus mats are commercially launderable and available in four colors with a classic rubber border.

Please note, mat sizes are approximate as rubber shrinks and expands in conjunction with temperature and time. Tolerable manufacturing size variance is 3-5%.

Care/Cleaning Instructions

WaterHog Plus mats can be commercially laundered (see laundering instructions) or cleaned using the instructions below:

  • Vacuum regularly (daily in high-traffic commercial areas; weekly in lower-traffic areas)
  • Extract or hose off as needed to remove heavy soil/debris
  • Hang mat to dry

Always make sure the mat is dry before placing it back in service.

Laundering Instructions

To commercially launder your WaterHog Plus mat, please follow the instructions below.  This formula does not require drying, however the mats can be dried if necessary.

  1. Flush 2-3 minutes, high water level, 100-120 degrees F (38-49 degrees C)
  2. Break 5 minutes, high water level, 100-120 degrees F (38-49 degrees C)
  3. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, 100-120 degrees F (38-49 degrees C)
  4. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, 100-120 degrees F (38-49 degrees C)
  5. Extract (low speed) 2 minutes
  6. Shake out (rotate wheel at wash speed with drain open) 1 minute
  7. Extract (high speed max - 250 Gs) 3-5 minutes
  8. Lay mats flat following removal from washer.

If you dry mats in the dryer, allow to cool before rolling.
