Description

Comfort Station Max mats, formerly known as Cushion Station Mats, are durable anti-fatigue mats made from nitrile foam designed to withstand grease, oil, and chemical exposure. Available with or without drainage holes, these mats are suitable for both wet and dry commercial or industrial environments.

The 7/16" thick nitrile rubber foam provides excellent underfoot comfort, while a lifetime anti-microbial treatment helps prevent odors and material degradation. Grease- and oil-proof, chemical resistant, and welding safe, Comfort Station Max mats feature beveled edges and NFSI high-traction certification for added safety. These mats meet FDA and USDA standards for non-contact surfaces and are manufactured for use in food processing and food preparation areas.

Please note, mat sizes are approximate as rubber shrinks and expands in conjunction with temperature and time. Tolerable manufacturing size variance is 3-5%.

Care/Cleaning Instructions

Comfort Station Max mats can be cleaned in several different ways:

  • Commercially laundered (see Laundering Instructions)
  • Sterilized in an autoclave
  • Washed by hand using the following instructions:  Scrub with a deck brush (as needed), using a detergent with a neutral pH; rinse with a hose or pressure washer
  • Hang to dry

Always make sure the mat is dry before placing it back in service.

Laundering Instructions

Comfort Station Max mats can be commercially laundered to remove oil, grease, and soil. The formula below does not require extensive mechanical action or drying; it is designed to dissolve grease residue by using hot water to emulsify oils and grease.

  1. Flush 2-3 minutes, high water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  2. Break 5-10 minutes, high water level, 140 degrees F (60 degrees C)
  3. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  4. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold
  5. Lay mats flat following removal from washer. Allow mats to cool before rolling.
