Description

Comfort Scrape mats combine aggressive scraping action with anti-fatigue comfort, making them ideal for commercial and industrial environments where grease, oil, and chemicals are present. The bi-level surface design traps dirt and debris to help prevent tracking while maintaining a safer, cleaner work area.

Constructed from high-density closed-cell nitrile rubber foam, Comfort Scrape mats provide excellent underfoot cushioning and long-lasting durability. The mats are grease- and oil-proof, chemical resistant, welding safe, and treated with lifetime anti-microbial protection to help prevent odors and material degradation. Beveled edges and NFSI high-traction certification help enhance workplace safety.

Please note, mat sizes are approximate as rubber shrinks and expands in conjunction with temperature and time. Tolerable manufacturing size variance is 3-5%.

Care/Cleaning Instructions

Comfort Scrape mats can be cleaned in several different ways:

  • Commercially laundered (see Laundering Instructions)
  • Sterilized in an autoclave
  • Washed by hand using the following instructions:  Scrub with a deck brush (as needed), using a detergent with a neutral pH; rinse with a hose or pressure washer
  • Hang to dry

Always make sure the mat is dry before placing it back in service.

Laundering Instructions

Comfort Scrape mats can be commercially laundered to remove oil, grease, and soil.  The formula below does not require extensive mechanical action or drying; it is designed to dissolve grease residue by using hot water to emulsify oils and grease.

  1. Flush 2-3 minutes, high water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  2. Break 5-10 minutes, high water level, 140 degrees F (60 degrees C)
  3. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  4. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold
  5. Lay mats flat following removal from washer. Allow to cool before rolling.
