Description

Classic Brush mats are designed for indoor, high-traffic areas and use a blend of extra-coarse and traditional nylon fibers to aggressively scrape dirt, sand, and moisture from shoes. The durable, high-twist nylon construction resists crushing and maintains performance over time, making these mats ideal for busy entryways.

Fade-resistant, solution-dyed nylon is bleach safe and NFSI-certified for high traction. Available in Onyx Black with SBR or nitrile rubber backing options, Classic Brush mats are offered in custom sizes with a universal cleated backing for stability on smooth, hard, or carpeted surfaces.

Recommended Uses

Recommended for indoor use at entryways where more aggressive scraping/wiping action is desired to remove dirt, sand, and moisture from shoes.

Care/Cleaning Instructions

Classic Brush mats can be cleaned in several different ways:

  • Commercially laundered (see Laundering Instructions)
  • Vacuumed regularly: daily in high-traffic areas, weekly in lower-traffic applications
  • Cleaned with an extractor and laid flat to dry
  • Hang mat to dry

Mats should always be dry before they are placed back in service and cooled before rolling.

Laundering Instructions

Classic Brush mats that are backed with nitrile rubber can be commercially laundered. Proper laundering will prolong the life of the mat by preventing the buildup of soil and soap residue.

For heavy soil, increase temperature to max 120-140 degrees F (49-60 degrees C). Break should not exceed pH of 9.5; use low pH non-ionic detergents.

  1. Flush 2-3 minutes, medium water level, 100-120 degrees  F (38-49 degrees C)
  2. Flush (optional) 2-3 minutes, medium water level, 100-120 degrees  F (38-49 degrees C)
  3. Break 2-3 minutes, high water level, 100-120 degrees  F (38-49 degrees C)
  4. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold
  5. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold
  6. Extract (low speed) 1-2 minutes
  7. Shake out (rotate wheel at wash speed with drain open) 1 minute
  8. Extract (low speed) 3-5 minutes
  9. Dry 5-10 minutes, 180 degrees  F (82 degrees  C) basket temp.
  10. Cool down 5 minutes
  11. Lay mats flat following removal from washer or dryer. Allow to cool before rolling.

Important:  Nylon carpet fibers may shrink when exposed to excessive heat, which may shorten the life of the product. Do not exceed the recommended was and dry temperatures and cycle times.

Fast Production

We know time is critical, and that's why we prioritize speed without compromising quality.

Standard production for most products is 5-business. Complex products may take a bit longer.
