How it works

  1. Send us by email a high-resolution photo or file of the requested design to info@graphicimagemats.com
  2. Include custom mat option in your purchase
  3. Our design team will evaluate the design request to confirm it can be created and produced in high quality
  4. You will receive a digital proof for your approval
  5. Once approved a 12'' x 12'' physical sample will be mailed to you to re-confirm the design and colors. You may waive this production sample
  6. Approve your custom production sample and mat is sent to production

Note: Custom design fees cover up to 2 design variations which must be based on the original reference design or pattern. If the design process is not completed after 2 modifications, an additional $50 fee will be required for any additional version.

Material Specifications

Expressions Vinyl is a 2.2 mm thick smooth PVC top floor with a polyester foam backer. The graphics are printed directly on the top using durable UV stable inks providing you with an extremely vibrant
and impactful image.

Care/Cleaning Instructions

Wipe clean using a damp cloth with or without mild soap, such as dish soap. A broom or vacuum may also be used for routine cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, alcohol, acids, Swiffer® wet pads, or abrasive cleaners, as these may cause discoloration or damage the mat surface. Clean spills promptly to help prevent staining.

For tomato-based stains, apply a small amount of dish soap to the affected area and allow it to sit for 15 minutes, then wipe clean with a damp cloth. If staining remains, place the mat in direct sunlight—outdoors or near a sunny window. Natural light may help break down the stain, with fading typically occurring within 24 to 48 hours depending on severity. It is possible the stain may not come out with certain materials.

Prevent water, liquids, or moisture from becoming trapped beneath the mat. While the mat is waterproof, prolonged contact with moisture or liquids confined underneath may lead to mold or mildew growth and could potentially damage the mat or underlying flooring.

For outdoor use, place the mat in shaded or covered areas whenever possible to reduce prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and help extend product life. Avoid dragging heavy or sharp objects across the mat, as this may damage the printed surface. Do not fold the mat, and note that it is not machine washable.

Installation Instructions

Your floor mat will arrive roll in a tube and will have a natural curl. Allow 24-48 hours for the mat to fully flatten. To expedite this process, place the mat under direct sunlight. Avoid placing a heavy object on it as it can leave an indentation.
